Biography
Driver Friendly, a rock band from Austin, Texas, was formed in 2002 while members were attending Forest Institute. The group self-released their debut album Live CD from The Engine Room in 2002, and followed it with the EP Demolicious. In January 2004, Driver Friendly signed with Enjoy Records and released their first studio album, Fly Away later that year. The band self-released two albums: Chase the White Whale in 2008 and Bury a Dream in 2012. In October 2012, Driver Friendly signed with Desperate Records and released their single "Ghosts" the same year. The band's subsequent album, Unimagined Bridges, was released in 2014, charting at number 33 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart.
