Biography

Doll Factory, an American electronic rock/post-punk revival band from Seattle, Washington, was formed in 1998 by Garrick Antikajian and Chris Roy. The duo initially worked together under various names, including Crown of Thorns and Guernica, before settling on Doll Factory. They released their debut EP, Premonition, in 1999, which garnered attention from Neue Ästhetik Multimedia and lead to the release of their album Weightless in 2003. The band's unique sound, blending industrial rock, goth, and electronica, earned them critical acclaim and appearances on several compilation albums. However, they parted ways with Neue Ästhetik due to industry changes and entered a hiatus when Antikajian lived in New York City.
