Gracia Arabella Baur, known as Gracia, was born on November 18, 1982 in Munich-Neuperlach. She receives singing lessons at an early age and takes part in studio recordings at the age of 16. In 2002, she reaches fifth place in the first season of Deutschland sucht den Superstar. Her debut album Intoxicated is released in October 2003 and reaches number 10 in the German album charts; it contains the singles "I Don't Think So!" (number 3 in Germany) and "I Believe in Miracles" (number 12 in Germany). In 2003, she records the song "Don't Close Your Eyes" with other DSDS participants as a member of the group 4 United, which reaches number 18 in Germany. Her second solo LP Passion is released in November 2004, from which the Eurovision single "Run & Hide" is released in February 2005. She wins the German ESC preliminary round with it, but comes last in the final in Kiev (24th) with only four points. The third single "When the Last Tear's Been Dried" from Passion follows in October 2005, reaching number 32 in Germany. In 2006, she released "Cos I Believe" as Xantoo together with Marvin Broadie and reached number 39 in the German charts. In 2009, she returns with "Christmas Is Calling". This is followed in 2014 by the single "Magic Moments", the official song of the 2014/15 Four Hills Tournament. In 2024, after 15 years, she releases the updated version of "X-mas Is Calling".
