Biography
Kelvyn Bertoni Santos, professionally known as Kew, began his artistic journey in Brazil as a young model before transitioning into dance, working with funk sensation MC Daniel. His recording career started in late 2022 with the single âProblema,â marking his official debut on digital platforms. Throughout 2024, he built momentum with a string of singles that showcased his blend of rap and funk influences, beginning with âMaloka Apaixona,â âEgocêntrica,â and âMe Impressiona.â Entering 2025, Kew gained wider recognition with the collaboration âPensando em Mimâ featuring 2L Motta in January, which was quickly followed by âDescerâ later that month and âViciado Em Ver Ela Descerâ featuring DJ LK da Escócia in February. In March, he released âMeu Jeito,â and by May added âVai No Chão,â continuing his consistent run of singles that established him as one of the new voices of Brazilian urban music. POPSTAR BR, his debut EP, arrived in August 2025 and featured an interpolation of Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal" on opener "Deslizando," as well as a guest appearance by Dj Aguilar on "Aproveita."
