Biography
Eric Fernando Narciandi, known as DJ EFN, was born on May 28, 1975, in Los Angeles, California. He moved to Miami, Florida at age 11 and began producing mixtapes in the early 1990s, inspired by New York City's mixtape scene. His first Crazy Hood mixtape was released in 1993, launching a series that later featured prominent hip-hop artists such as Outkast and Redman. In 2002, he won Best New Mixtape DJ at the 7th Annual Justo Awards. DJ EFN founded Crazy Sounds Record Pool in 1997 and later ventured into radio hosting with shows like "Militainment Crazy Raw Radio" on Sirius XM from 2009 to 2011, and "OG Radio" on Dash Radio starting in 2015. His first album of original music, Another Time, was released in March 2015, featuring collaborations with artists like Bun B and Talib Kweli.
