Die Nerven are a German post-punk band from Stuttgart that was founded in 2010. The group consists of Max Rieger (vocals, guitar), Julian Knoth (bass, vocals) and Kevin Kuhn (drums). Their musical style combines elements of post-punk, noise rock and indie rock and is characterized by energetic, dark sounds and socially critical lyrics. Their first album Fluidum was released in 2012, followed by Fun (2014) and Out (2015). The band's breakthrough came in 2018 with the album Fake, which reached number 13 in the German charts. this was followed in 2022 by the self-titled album Die Nerven, which also enjoyed great success and reached number 14 in the German charts. In 2024, they released their next album Wir waren hier (We Were Here ), which again reached number 14 in the German charts.
