Hey Colossus is an English rock band formed in London in 2003 by Joe Thompson (bass) and Robert Davis (vocals, guitar). Their debut album, Hey Colossus Hates You, was released on their own Jonson Family label in 2004. By 2008, the lineup had stabilized around Joe Thompson and Robert Davis, along with vocalist Paul Sykes, drummer Rhys Llewellyn, and guitarists Jonathan Richards and Tim Farthing. This period saw the release of albums such as Happy Birthday (2008) and Eurogrumble Vol. 1 (2010). Following Jonathan Richards' departure, Tim Farthingâs brother Roo Farthing joined for the album The Guillotine in 2017. Hey Colossus released their twelfth album, Four Bibles, in May 2019 on ALTER, followed by the double album Dances/Curses in 2020, which featured guest vocals by Mark Lanegan on "The Mirror" and was named 2020 Album Of The Year by The Quietus. The band followed up with albums In Blood (2023) and Heaven Was Wild (2026).
