Pinkshinyultrablast is a Russian shoegaze and dream pop band from Saint Petersburg that formed in 2007. The group's name is taken from the 2005 album Pinkshinyultrablast by the band Astrobrite. They made their recording debut with the EP Happy Songs for Happy Zombies (2009) and later achieved a breakthrough with the single âUmiâ (2014). Their debut studio album, Everything Else Matters, was released in 2015 and received critical acclaim for its blend of shoegazing, math-rock, and electronica. The ensembleâs discography also includes the studio albums Grandfeathered (2016) and Miserable Miracles (2018). Notable singles from their career include âRavestar Supremeâ (2015) and âKiddy Pool Dreamsâ (2015).
