Dayglo Abortions, a Canadian hardcore punk and metal band from Victoria, British Columbia, was formed in 1979. Their debut album, Out of the Womb, was released in 1981. The band gained notoriety for their graphic album covers and lyrics that challenged societal norms. Throughout the years, the band released several albums, including Feed Us A Fetus (1985), Here Today Guano Tomorrow (1988), and Holy Shiite (2004). Notable members included Murray Acton on lead guitar and vocals, Mike Jak on guitar, and "Jesus Bonehead" on drums.
