Biography

Flower is a South Korean pop rock band formed in 1999, known for their emotional ballads and rock influences. The original lineup consisted of vocalist Ko Yu-jin, guitarist Ko Sung-jin, and bassist Kim Woo-di. They gained national recognition with their debut album Tears (1999), which included the hit song "Endless", a track that became a defining anthem of early 2000s Korean pop rock. The band followed up with successful albums Bloom (2000) and Bandlife (2001), further cementing their place in the music industry. In 2004, Jeon In-hyuk, former lead vocalist of the band Yada, joined Flower as a guitarist. However, in 2005, Ko Sung-jin and Kim Woo-di left the group and formed another band, Replay, with singer Kim Jung-min. Despite their efforts, Replay did not achieve widespread success and eventually disbanded. Flower continued briefly but officially went on hiatus in 2006 after Jeon In-hyuk enlisted in the military. After a four-year break, the original members—Ko Yu-jin, Ko Sung-jin, and Kim Woo-di—reunited in 2010, releasing the album Flower Tunes and resuming their musical career.
