Critters Buggin was an American instrumental group formed in Seattle, Washington, in 1993 by drummer Matt Chamberlain, saxophonist Skerik, and bassist Brad Houser, with percussionist Mike Dillon joining later. The group blended jazz, rock, funk, electronic music, and rhythm-based experimentation. Critters Buggin made their live debut in Seattle in 1993 and released their first album, Guest, in 1994 on Loosegroove Records. Subsequent studio albums included Host (1997), Bumpa (1998), and Stampede (2005). The group also released live recordings, including Live in 95 and Count Cancellation â Live 2001, documenting performances from different phases of their career.
