Matthew Christopher Grau, known as Matt Ox, and born on December 13, 2004, in Lawncrest, Philadelphia, is a rapper and singer. He began his hip-hop career at age 11 and was homeschooled from that point forward. At 12 years old, he released the single "Overwhelming" with instrumentation by Oogie Mane. In March 2018, Matt Ox collaborated with XXXTentacion on the song "$$$", featured on XXXTentacion's second album ?. He signed with Motown Records and released his debut album Ox in October of that year. His subsequent releases include the mixtape Sweet 16 (2020), the EP Unorthodox (2021), and the album Year Of The Ox (2022). Notable collaborations include appearances by Chief Keef, Key!, Valee, Lancey Foux, and UnoTheActivist.
