Biography
Originally from Tennessee, Grammy-nominated songwriter and worship leader Chris Davenport began crafting songs for his local church during his teenage years before travelling to Australia to attend bible college. Since 2011, he has been a pivotal contributor to Hillsong Worship and Hillsong United churches, lending his songwriting skills to over ten of their album releases. Returning to the US and settling in Orange County, California, Chris collaborated with notable names such as Bethel Music, Phil Wickham, Jason Ingram, Mack Brock, Cody Carnes, Brandon Lake, and Vertical Worship, unveiling his inaugural solo album Time in June 2023, featuring the single "Plead the Blood," which made its mark on the Top 50 Radio Christian Songs charts in July.
