Biography
Patrick Mayberry is an American singer-songwriter who performs in the Contemporary Christian Music genre. A Chicago native, he grew up listening to secular rock acts like Jimi Hendrix and Grateful Dead, but it wasn't after attending a Passion conference in 2006 that he finally decided to devote himself to worship music. Following an invitation from a friend to take part in an artist retreat organized by Christian label Centricity in 2018, he managed to secure a deal with the publishing wing of the company a few months later; an opportunity that allowed him to pen lyrics for the likes of North Point Worship, David Leonard, Mack Brock, Chris Renzema, David Dunn, Jonny Diaz, and Joel Vaughn. That year, Patrick Mayberry relocated to Franklin, Tennessee, and independently released his first EP, Joy. His second extended play, Live in My Living Room, saw the light in 2019. In 2020, he joined Centricity's artist roster, making his official debut for the label with the single "Breakthrough Miracle Power." This was followed by the release of a third EP titled Holy Spirit Come (2021), which included his debut single and the Christian Airplay Top 50 hit "How You Love Me."
