Biography

Cheap Girls was an American rock ensemble formed in 2007 in Lansing, Michigan. The group was established by brothers Ian Graham and Ben Graham alongside lead guitarist Adam Aymor. The trio released its debut studio recording, Find Me a Drink Home, on April 22, 2008, through Quote Unquote Records. The ensemble followed with the album My Roaring 20's in 2009, released through Paper + Plastick. In 2012, the band signed with Rise Records and released the recording Giant Orange, which reached number 49 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart. Its discography included the album Famous Graves (2014), released through Xtra Mile Recordings. The group toured with artists such as Against Me!, The Gaslight Anthem, and The Hold Steady. Bassist Jason Draper joined the lineup in 2016 before the group announced its disbandment on January 20, 2017. The band’s sound was compared to the ensembles The Replacements and The Lemonheads.
