Biography
Pacifica is a musical duo formed by Internet friends Inés Adam (singer and guitarist) and Martina Nintzel (bassist), whose connection quickly evolved into a shared artistic vision. What began as long-distance collaboration turned into a defining partnership rooted in friendship, curiosity, and a love for alternative music. In 2022, a life-changing trip to New York reshaped their direction, inspiring a bolder sound and leading them to sign with the Los Angelesâbased label Tag Music. Now based in Buenos Aires, Pacifica emerged with a distinctive identity that blends indie rock, raw pop sensibilities, and emotionally charged lyrics. Their debut album, Freak Scene (2023), introduced listeners to their intimate yet explosive sound, characterized by melodic basslines, expressive guitar work, and Inésâs unmistakable vocals. Building on that momentum, the duo announced their second album, In Your Face (2025), a more confrontational and energetic release that captures their evolution as artists. The album includes standout tracks such as âIndie Boyzâ a sharp, attitude-driven song that reflects their playful critique of music culture while embracing its contradictions.
