Mi Amigo Invencible is an Argentine indie rock band formed in Mendoza in 2007 by singer-guitarists Mariano Di CÃ©sare and NicolÃ¡s Voloschin with drummer Arturo MartÃn, later joined by percussionist Leonardo GudiÃ±o, keyboardist Pablo Di Nardo and bassist Lucila Pivetta, after early line-ups that included Mariano Castro and Juan Pablo Quatrini. They debuted that same year with the home-recorded album Guaper, la tenaza que corta el alambra del corral, followed by Guaper, corriendo a lo inmediato in 2009 and Las cuatro canciones del viaje in 2010, which documented their move from Mendoza to Buenos Aires and a shift toward a denser indie rock sound. The 2011 album Relatos de un incendio and the 2012 EP 14 minutos de distancia led into La nostalgia soundsystem in 2013, released through the Fuego Amigo label and positioning the group in the emerging Argentine indie circuit. Their sixth album La danza de los principiantes appeared in 2015 and became a key milestone in their catalogue, after which they issued the EPs Nuestra noche (2017) and Ciencias naturales (2018) before taking a brief hiatus. In 2019 Mi Amigo Invencible returned with Dutsiland, recorded in Buenos Aires and Uruguay and mixed by John McEntire, which later received a Gardel Award nomination for Best Alternative Rock Album. During the pandemic period they released the EPs El mismo sol and Nuestro mundo in 2020 and a trilogy of live volumes in 2021, then in 2022 unveiled Isla de oro, produced by MartÃn Buscaglia and nominated for the 2023 Gardel Award for Best Pop Group Album. After the 2023 EP Â¡Tierra a la vista!, the band issued its ninth studio album Arco y Flecha in June 2024, featuring the single "Acto de fe" alongside "Todo lo que tengo", "Lejos de todo" and "Beso relÃ¡mpago."
