Biography
Blank Realm is an Australian indie rock band from Brisbane, Queensland, formed in 2004. The group consists of sibling members Daniel, Luke and Sarah Spencer along with guitarist Luke Walsh. Their music blends experimental rock and traditional rock structures with elements of improvisation, particularly evident in live performances. Blank Realm released their debut EP Free Time (2007), followed by the album You Don't Know the Devil Till You've Seen Him in a Flower (2007). The band's discography includes notable albums such as Snargent Snepper (2009), Heatless Ark (2009), and Deja What? (2010). Their album Grassed Inn (2014) was shortlisted for the Australian Music Prize. In 2015, their album Illegals in Heaven (2015) won Best Album at the Queensland Music Awards, with the song "Palace of Love" becoming the most played track on Double J digital radio that year.
