Biography
William Nastri, known professionally as Billy Nasty, is a British techno and electro artist and DJ who started his career as a house music DJ. His first residency was at the Brain club in London in 1990. His breakthrough came with Journeys by DJ Volume 1: In the Mix with Billy Nasty (1993), the first commercially released DJ mix, earning him a Guinness World Record. He played at notable clubs such as the End and Twilo club, and the event Tribal Gathering. In 1995, he founded Tortured Records, and in 1997, established Theremin Management. Throughout his career, Billy Nasty released several albums including Race Data E.T.A (1997), The Torture Chamber (2000), and BN01 (2002).
