Biography
Bernd Scholl was born on November 28, 1956, in Flörsheim am Main, Germany. Scholl is a musician who composes and produces electronic music. A solo career began around 1980 after Scholl worked as a keyboardist with various rock bands. The debut album Tales of Fantasy (1982) reached number 3 in the Melody Maker Synthesizer Charts. Between 1987 and 1995, Scholl released albums under the Sky Records label, including Echoes (1987), Harmony (1988), and Cosmic Symphony (1993). A collaboration with BSC Music began in 1997. Notable releases include Light of the Moon (1997), The Sacred Path (2009) with Rüdiger Gleisberg, and Dawn to Dusk (2012). Live performances include optical multivision shows in planetariums and churches. Scholl performed concerts with musicians including Gandalf and Nik Tyndall. Other recordings include The Winds of Autumn (2023).
