Flip Da Scrip was formed in 1990 in Enschede, Netherlands, by DJ Cooly D (Stef Bruinsma) and rapper Glaze (Anthony Haynes). Their breakthrough came with the single âThrow Your Hands in the Airâ (1992), which was followed by their debut studio album, Products of da Piemel (1993). In 1994, the group released the single âWho's in da Houseâ and toured as an opening act for R. Kelly in the Netherlands. They signed with the German record label Dos Or Die / Nightown Records and performed at the Dome-Festival in Cologne alongside the Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC, and DJ Quicksilver. Rapper Glaze departed in 1997 and was replaced by rapper Bear and singers Winston and Crucial. This new lineup released the successful single âI Never Told Youâ (1997), which reached number 28 in the Netherlands, number 48 in Germany, and number 49 in Switzerland. Their subsequent releases include the studio albums Confusion â The Album (1996) and Never Told You (1998), and the singles âHave You Everâ (1998) and âThat's the Way / After All (Africa)â (2000). In 2004, a new lineup emerged with Toni Vaganza joining Cooly D. They released the single âThe Weekendâ (2017) and returned to the studio in 2025 to release the re-issued singles âParty Here!â (2025) and âGet That Drinkâ (2025).
