Biography
Bass Extremes is a collaboration of bassists Victor Wooten and Steve Bailey, originating in the United States. The project began in 1998 with the release of their debut album Cookbook. Their second album, Just Add Water, followed in 2001. Bass Extremes has also released content on video and in a book of sheet music and tablature transcribed by Roy Vogt. The group has featured various musicians over the years, including drummer Derico Watson, Oteil Burbridge, and original drummer Gregg Bissonette. Their album S'Low Down was released in 2022.
