Biography

Egypt Central, an American rock band from Memphis, Tennessee, was formed in 2002. After gaining local attention, they signed a record deal with Fat Lady Music following early live performances and industry interest. Their self-titled debut album, produced by Josh Abraham, was released in 2005, featuring the singles "You Make Me Sick" and "Taking You Down." The band toured extensively with acts such as Disturbed and Seether, among others. Egypt Central effectively disbanded around 2012 following member departures and inactivity. They reunited in 2019, releasing several singles and later issuing the EP Burn With You in 2021.
