Biography

The Prom Kings were an American rock band based in Los Angeles, California. Formed in 2001, their breakthrough came with the release of their first single "Alone" in January 2005, which gained traction on American rock radio stations. The band released their self-titled debut album The Prom Kings on August 2, 2005, under the independent record label Three Kings DBC. Notable appearances include the song "Birthday" featured on ESPN's SportsCenter in July 4, 2005, and "Blow" included in the movie The Island in 2005. Tragically, lead singer Chris Carney died from injuries sustained in a traffic accident on December 4, 2015, at the age of 35.
