Biography
A hardcore punk band formed in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, in 2013, Bad Breeding consists of Christopher Dodd (vocals), Matt Toll (guitar), Charlie Rose (bass) and Ashlea Bennett (drums). Drawing inspiration from the pioneers of the anarcho-punk scene (Crass, Rudimentary Peni and Flux of Pink Indians), Bad Breeding released their debut single "Burn This Flag" in 2013 and signed to HateHateHate Records the following year, before returning to self-production. After the release of single "Chains " in 2014, debut album Bad Breeding followed in April 2016, before signing with London-based La Vida Es Un Mus and American label Iron Lung for album Divide (2018), then with One Little Independent for EP Abandonment, followed by the critically and publicly acclaimed albums Exiled in 2019 and Human Capital in 2022. In 2024, the band became even more radical with the album Contempt, followed by the EP Blood Manifest in March 2025.
