Biography
Artur Marcin Rojek (born 6 May 1972 in MysÅowice) is a Polish rock musician and singer. A graduate of the Jerzy Kukuczka University of Physical Education, he co-founded the alternative rock group Myslovitz in 1992 alongside guitarist Wojciech Powaga. He served as the group's lead vocalist and guitarist until his departure in 2012. Between 1998 and 2001, he was also the primary songwriter for the dream pop band Lenny Valentino. Rojek launched a successful solo career in 2014 with the album SkÅadam siÄ z ciÄ
gÅych powtórzeÅ, which reached number 2 on the Polish charts. His subsequent releases include the live album Koncert w NOSPR (2017) and the studio album Kundel (2020), which peaked at number 4. Influenced by groups like Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark and the Housemartins, Rojek also established the annual Off Festival in 2006, serving as its artistic director.
