Arianna Puello, also known as Ari, is a Spanish rapper and actress born in the Dominican Republic in 1977. Puello moved to Spain in 1985 and performed in groups including DiscÃpulos Del Micro before beginning a solo career in 1996. Their debut recording, El tentempié (1998), was followed by the album Gancho perfecto (1999), which featured the single âGancho perfectoâ. Their album La fecha (2001) received international recognition. Subsequent recordings include Asà lo siento (2003), 13 Razones (2008), and Despierta (2015). Puello received a nomination for Best Hip Hop Album at the Premios de la Música for 13 Razones. Their collaborations include El Meswy, Frank T, and Mala RodrÃguez. Filmography includes roles in Shacky Carmine (1999) and Mi Dulce (2007).
