Arati Ankalikar-Tikekar, born on January 27, 1963, in Bijapur, Karnataka, India, is a classical vocalist and playback singer known for her work in Marathi, Konkani, and Hindi film industries. Her early training included studies under Vasantrao Kulkarni of the Agra-Gwalior gharana and Kishori Amonkar of the Jaipur-Atrauli gharana. She gained recognition for her playback singing in films, such as Antarnaad and De Dhakka. Her notable achievements include winning the National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer for Anternaad, the Maharashtra State Film Award for "Ugavali Shukrachi Chandani" from De Dhakka, and Best Female Playback Singer again in 2013 for Samhita, and receiving the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 2020. Ankalikar-Tikekar has performed at various prestigious venues worldwide.
