Aoife Nessa Frances, born in 1992 in Dublin, Ireland, is a singer-songwriter and musician. From 2013 to 2015, she performed as one half of the shoegaze band Princess, which received media attention. In 2020, Aoife Nessa Frances released her debut album Land of No Junction, which received universal acclaim with a Metacritic rating of 81. The album featured notable songs such as "Blow Up" and "Here in the Dark". She was also listed as one of Hot Press magazine's "Hot for 2020" and performed at SXSW in March 2021. In July 2021, she collaborated with Jack Name on the single "Watching the Willows Burn". Aoife Nessa Frances' second album Protector was released in 2022.
