Christine Ann Fellows is a Canadian folk-pop songwriter born in 1968 in Windsor, Ontario. She relocated to Winnipeg in 1992 and established her first ensemble, Helen, in 1993. Following the group's dissolution, she formed Special Fancy and released the recording King Me in 1996. Fellows released her debut solo studio recording, 2 Little Birds, in 2000. Her discography included the albums The Last One Standing (2002), Paper Anniversary (2005), and Nevertheless (2007). She married musician John K. Samson and collaborated with him on the 2006 recording The Old House, which featured the tracks âTaps Reversedâ and âGood Salvageâ. Her later work included the studio recordings Femmes de chez nous (2011) and Burning Daylight (2014), the latter released with a poetry collection. She released the albums Roses on the Vine (2018) and Stuff We All Get (2022) through her label Vivat Virtute. In 2023, she collaborated with Samson on the album Hold Music.
