Wojciech Laskowski, known professionally as Schafter, was born in 2003 in Racibórz, Poland. He is a rapper, singer, and music producer who initially dealt with production under the pseudonym "restaurantposse ð." In June 2016, he released his first song with vocals, "Dead in Designer Clothes," on SoundCloud. His breakthrough came with the release of "Hot Coffee" on May 24, 2019, which became a summer hit. On November 22, 2019, Schafter released his first full-length album, Audiotele, featuring guest appearances from Taco Hemingway, Å»abson, and Belmondo. The album reached number 2 on the OLiS chart. On March 24, 2021, "Hot Coffee" received a diamond award from ZPAV.
