Alejandro "Ãlex" Casademunt González, known professionally as Ãlex Casademunt, was a Spanish singer, actor, and presenter born on June 30, 1981, in Vilasar de Mar, Barcelona. He gained prominence through the first edition of Operación Triunfo (2001-2002) and subsequently formed the group Fórmula Abierta with fellow contestants. Their debut album, Aún Hay Más, was released on June 7, 2002, featuring the hit single "Te quiero más." In 2003, Casademunt started his solo career with the album Inquietudes, which included the romantic lead single "Jugándome la Vida Entera." He also ventured into television presenting and acting. Throughout his career, Ãlex Casademunt collaborated with his brother Joan on several projects, including the group Casademunts and the single "Me Haces Sentir" (2014). Ãlex Casademunt passed away on March 2, 2021, at the age of 39, following a car accident.
