Biography
Christian Streitsov, aka Kalazh44, is a German hip-hop artist of Ukrainian heritage who began rapping in Berlin in 2015. He made his official debut with the mixtape Bezirk 13 in 2015 and then released his first studio album Diebe Im Gesetz in 2016 via DJ Gan-Gsâs Major Movez label, reaching Number 68 on the German Albums Chart. Kalazh44 then followed up with the singles âDiamantâ (2017), âZimmer 31â (2018), âBruder Kommâ (2019) with Timur, and âKhabibâ (2019) with Capital Bra and Gringo. In 2019, Kalazh44 scored his first Number 1 single with the track âRoyal Rumble,â featuring Luciano, Nimo, Capital Bra, and Samra. That same year, he dropped the EP Nix Gibts Balazh, whose lead single âBonbonâ peaked at Number 70 on the German Singles Chart. His highly anticipated second full-length Dreckig Reden Sauber Flowân arrived in 2020 and featured cameos by Samra (âKashiraâ), Gringo (âDeagleâ), Brudi030 (âKuchenâ), and Capital Bra (âWhite Nightsâ). In 2021, Kalazh44 released a third LP titled Zwischen Millionen und Depressionen. âRote Augen,â one of the singles from the album, bowed at Number 20 on the German Singles Chart.
