Biography
KC Rebell was born Hüseyin Kökseçen in Pazarcık, Turkey, and grew up in Essen, Germany. Before starting his solo career, he formed the duo SAW (Schwarz Auf WeiÃ) with PA Sports. Releases via the record companies Shrazy Records and Pottweiler Entertainment brought them their first successes. Although the two rappers disbanded the duo in 2011, KC subsequently signed to PA Sports' label Life Is Pain. The debut album Derdo Derdo was released in the same year, but failed to enter the charts. His second album Rebellismus charted at number 33, but dropped out of the Top 100 again after one week. KC Rebell then received a commercial boost when he switched to the Banger Musik record label. The album Banger Rebellieren, released in 2013, reached number 2 in the charts and all further releases in the following years, Rebellution (2014), Fata Morgana (2015) and Abstand (2016), even reached number 1. The last two also received a gold record. KC Rebell then collaborated with fellow rapper Summer Cem. The first joint longplayer Maximum reached the top of the album charts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in 2017. The collaboration continued with the albums Maximum III (2020) and FNFZHN (2021). His solo album Hasso, released in 2019, features KC Rebell's only number 1 single to date, "DNA", with Summer Cem and Capital Bra as feature guests. The album Rebell Army followed in 2022, with which the rapper climbed to number 4 in the German charts. His 2023 album Galgen fell short of expectations in Germany, reaching number 63. After a short break, KC Rebell returns with the album Daddy Is Back at the beginning of 2026. The album reached number 31 in the German charts.
