Agnelli & Nelson, the collective name of Northern Irish music producers Christopher James Agnew and Robert Frederick Nelson, began their career in 1997. Initially focusing on electronic dance music within the trance genre, they produced under various aliases including Afterburn, Cortez, Green Atlas, Quincey & Sonance, and The A&N Project. Their breakthrough came with the release of "El Nino" in 1998, which reached Number 21 in the UK. This success was followed by several notable singles, including "Everyday" (Number 17), "Embrace" (Number 35), and "Hudson St." (Number 29). Their collaborations extended to major artists like Matt Darey, Jon the Dentist, Scott Bond, Solarstone, and Chicane. Agnelli & Nelson also produced music for labels such as Tsunami Records and ID&T, and their remix of John O'Callaghan's "Big Sky" was voted the number one trance production on A State of Trance in 2007.
