Need New Body is an avant-garde music collective from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Formed from members of the defunct progressive rock/neo-psychedelic band Bent Leg Fatima, Need New Body released their debut self-titled album Need New Body in 2001 via File Thirteen Records and Pickled Egg Records. Their sophomore album, UFO, was released in 2003, also through File Thirteen Records and Pickled Egg Records, and received the Best New Music designation from Pitchfork. The band's third album, Where's Black Ben?, was released in 2005, via 5RC and Pickled Egg Records. Several members of Need New Body went on to join the band Man Man.
