Biography

Abandon Kansas is an American alternative and Christian rock ensemble formed in 2005 in Wichita. The group consisted of Jeremy Spring, Brian Scheideman, and Nick Patrick. The band released an eponymous debut EP independently in 2005 and its first studio album, You Build a Wall, I'll Build a Ladder, in 2007. After signing with Gotee Records in 2009, the ensemble released the EP We're All Going Somewhere, which featured the recording “Months and Years”. The band released the studio album Ad Astra Per Aspera in 2011. Under the label Bad Christian, the group released the studio recording Alligator in 2015. Spring announced an indefinite hiatus for the group in June 2015 due to personal circumstances. The ensemble rebranded as Glass Age in 2019. In 2024, the group released the live recording Alligator (Live at Smokestack).
