A286 is a Brazilian gangsta rap group formed in São Paulo in 1997. The band consists of members Ivan and Reinando. In 2007, the group released its debut studio album, Além do Crime e da Razão, which was produced by Erick 12. The album featured 16 tracks and received recognition at the Hutuz awards. The band followed this with a second studio album, Exército dos ExcluÃdos, in 2010, which was also produced by Erick 12, who serves as the groupâs DJ. This record addressed social issues within the Brazilian periphery, specifically reporting on crime, drugs, and police violence. The group is noted within the Brazilian hip-hop scene for its focus on social commentary and its portrayal of urban problems.
