Biography
Zokush is a rapper from Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois, Essonne. A childhood friend of MIG and Le Risque, he formed the group La 02 Géné with them, in reference to their year of birth, 2002. He came to prominence with his single "100 G" in 2021, which was a big hit with over 10 million views on YouTube. His next track, "Butin" (2022), celebrating his neighborhood and evoking his mother, was also well received. In 2023, Zokush released his first mixtape, Sûr et Certain, featuring 17 tracks and collaborations with artists such as MIG, RK and Genezio. Among the album's highlights is "1 2 3 4", featuring RK. Genezio and Mig also feature as guests. In June 2024, the French rapper unveils Du Jour au Lendemain, featuring contributions from Jungeli, Lacrim (on the single "Paname") and Benab. The album reaches number 12 in the French charts.
