Biography

French rapper Beendo Z, whose real name is Jordy Mbvoumin, was born in Dunkirk (Nord) on March 17, 1998. He grew up in Saint-Gratien, in the Val-d'Oise department, and was set on a career in soccer before turning to rap. Influenced by drill and trap, he released several notable tracks such as “Pegi 18” and “Débrouillard pas bandit, ” before the 2022 release of his debut album, *L’Élu*, which peaked at No. 26 on the SNEP chart. Having broken out with the track “Pas bête”—a viral hit certified diamond—Beendo Z collaborated with producer Feuneu and further developed his style on the album *De la Fontaine* (2023), highlighted by the track “Nature morte.” At the same time, he continued his series *Inspiré de faits réels*, which began in 2021 and had reached eight installments by 2025. That year, he released the EP *Propa*, featuring the viral hit “Quitter la partie” and guest appearances by La Fève, Genezio, and KLM. In 2026, the singles “Génération Z” and “J’en parle” preceded the release of his second album, *Éclipse*, which peaked at No. 98 on the SNEP chart.
