Biography
Born in Clamart, Hauts-de-Seine, on April 24, 2001, 1pliké140 grew up in the "cité de la Plaine", in "Petit Clamart", in the south of the city. His attachment to this area is palpable even in the pseudonym he chooses to launch his career as a rapper, since the 140 of 1pliké140 refers directly to Clamart's zip code, 92140. He quickly arouses the curiosity of rap fans with his series of freestyles entitled "#Bâtard", appropriating the musical codes of the burgeoning British drill scene. Shortly before the summer of 2020, he released his first mixtape, entitled 1pliktoi, whose success called for a second volume to be released at the end of the same year. Around this time, he was one of several rappers invited by clothing brand Carbozo to feature on its compilation. But in the meantime, thanks to the success of the single "Tranquillement", he had made sure not to disappear from the rap landscape or the playlists of streaming platforms. In spring 2021, he released Arrêtez-Le! a new eight-track project, including the single "Belek". A Volume 2 is soon in the works. Logically entitled Arrêtez-Le! Volume 2, was released in 2022, and included the tracks "Remontada", "Bénéf" and "Comme Bou". After the release of the isolated single "Calmez-vous" in 2024, the first P1 album appeared in 2025. Produced solo and featuring the chart-topping tracks "Doumbé", "Mégane" and "GSP", it reached No. 8 in the French charts.
