Zheani Isobel Sparkes, known as Zheani, was born on April 26, 1993, in Bundaberg Base Hospital, Australia. She began her music career after modeling for DKNY in 2014 and creating street art in Melbourne in 2017. Her first EP, Eight, was released in 2018, followed by The Line in March 2019. Zheani's music often addresses personal experiences, including domestic violence and drug use in her childhood. Her track "The Question" gained attention for its intense autobiographical lyrics accusing Watkin Tudor Jones of abuse. In 2019, she released the EP Satanic Prostitute. She has collaborated with artists such as Ãngie and 4s4ski, and signed to Dirty Hit in October 2021. Notable singles include "Fuck the Hollywood Cult" (October 2021) and "Pathetic Waste" (June 2023). Zheani won Emerging Artist of the Year at the Queensland Music Awards in March 2022, along with the Heavy Award.
