Yuka Honda, born in Tokyo, Japan, is a Japanese-American keyboard player, composer, and record producer. She moved to New York City in November 1986 and made her stage debut at CBGB's in 1988. In 1994, she co-founded Cibo Matto with Miho Hatori, signing with Warner Brothers Records before the year was over. Their debut album, Viva! La Woman, was recorded in 1995 and released in 1996. Honda collaborated with Sean Lennon and produced his 1998 album Into the Sun. Her solo albums include Memories Are My Only Witness (2002), Eucademix (2004), and Heart Chamber Phantoms (2010). In 2014, Cibo Matto released their album Hotel Valentine.
