Yoko Oginome, born è»éç® æ´å on December 10, 1968, in Kashiwa, Chiba, Japan, is a Japanese singer and actress. She began her career as a child artist, debuting with the J-pop group Milk, releasing two singles before embarking on a solo career in 1984. Oginome's breakthrough came the following year with the hit single "Dancing Hero (Eat You Up)", which propelled her to stardom and became one of her signature songs. Oginome released her first album, Teens Romance, in September 1984, followed by Furijia no Ame in March 1985. Her subsequent albums, including Kaigara Terasu and RazuberÄ« no Kaze, continued to gain popularity. In 1986, she ventured into acting, appearing in various television programs. Notable singles from this period include "Flamingo in Paradise" and "Dance Beat wa Yoake made". Her album Heartbeat Express was released as a mini-album in August 1986.
