Real name Yannick Schweitzer, French rapper and singer Yanns was born on August 21, 1998 in Metz. He began to publish his first compositions on social networks, then brought them together on the album Cœur Brisé in 2021. That same year, he gained widespread exposure with the track "Clic clic pan pan", which reached no. 5 and was certified a diamond disc. The track is included on the album Pays des Merveilles (2022), which reaches no. 10. Taken from the album's enriched reissue, "Soleil et nanas" is followed by "Bip bip", whose video is viewed over four million times in just a few weeks, and the album Partir Loin (2022), whose synthesis of urban pop and rap pop reaches number 37. French-speaking revelation of the year 2022 at the NRJ Music Awards, Yanns followed up with the singles "Prisonnier", "Tik Tok" and "Obrigado " (featuring saxophonist Jimmy Sax), taken from the album 1998 (2023), which reached No. 5 on its release. In 2024, Yanns released the 15-track album Sale Gosse, including a duet with Gosch entitled "Nous deux". New tracks follow later in the year, such as "Je me marie" on the reissue of the album, and "Pin pon" and "Stop" on the compilation Mon Histoire.
