William Topley is a British musician recognized for his distinctive blend of soul, rock, and blues. He began his career as the frontman for The Blessing, releasing the albums Prince of the Deep Water (1991) and Locusts & Wild Honey (1994). Following the group's dissolution, Topley launched a solo career with the Barry Beckett-produced Black River (1997).
