Biography
Assembly of Dust, an American rock band formed in 2002 by Reid Genauer after Strangefolk's breakup. The group initially included Genauer on lead vocals and guitar, Nate Wilson on keyboard, Adam Terrell on lead guitar, John Leccese on bass, and Andy Herrick on drums. They released their self-titled album in 2003. In 2004, they recorded their first live album, The Honest Hour, followed by five more live albums from their December 2005 tour. The band's first studio album, Recollection, was released in 2007. They performed at notable festivals such as Bonnaroo and Newport Folk Festival. Their single "Vaulted Sky" from the 2013 album Sun Shot received moderate airplay on Adult Alternative stations. In 2016, they performed shows in Portland and Vermont with Nate Wilson filling in for Jason Crosby on keyboards, and in 2017 the band opened for Anders Osborn, joined by guitarist Jackie Greene for performances of âLove the One Youâre Withâ and âHarrowerâ.
