Wilbert Taveras is a Dominican salsa singer, composer, arranger, and producer whose solo release trail began with "Contigo en la Cabeza" in 2019 and continued in 2021 with "Y, ¿Si Fuera Ella? (Salsa)", a duet with Michel el Buenón. In 2023 he reached a bigger milestone with his first widely listed album, Todo A Su Tiempo, then followed it the same year with "Tiemblas" alongside José Alberto âEl Canario.â He stayed active in 2024 with singles including "Mal Amigo" and "Como Si Fuera La Ãltima Vez", and in 2025 added "Poco" and "No Me Diste Tiempo". His 2026 run was especially busy: he released "Tu Cuerpo Ardiente" with Willito Otero, which peaked at number 25 on the Billboard Tropical Airplay chart, then followed it with "Viene Gente (versión salsa)" with Pavel Núñez and "Bomba Carambomba (Homenaje a Ãngel Canales)". By that point, his profile was tied not only to his singing but also to his work behind the scenes as an arranger and orchestrator, a role that brought him a 2026 Premios Soberano nomination in the category Best Orchestrator/Arranger.
