Voggue was a Canadian disco vocal duo composed of Chantal Condor and Angela Songui. The group emerged in 1980, releasing their self-titled debut album Voggue on the Celsius label. This album featured several notable singles, including "Here We Are" and "Love Buzz", but it was "Dancin' the Night Away" that became their breakthrough hit. Written by Denis LePage, this single spent three weeks at number one on the U.S. Hot Dance Club Play chart in 1981, reaching number 109 on the Bubbling Under chart and number 39 on the UK Singles Chart. It also peaked at number four in Belgium, followed by "Movin' Up", which reached number 35 in the same country.
In 1983, Voggue released their second album Take 2 on Matra Records, featuring singles such as "I Love to Dance" and "Sun Struck Lovers". The duo disbanded in 1984. Their music has since been recognized in popular culture, with "Dancin' the Night Away" featured in Kevin Elyot's play Coming Clean.
