Vladimir "Vlado" Kalember, born on April 26, 1953, in Strumica, FPR Yugoslavia, is a Croatian pop singer known for his distinctive husky voice. In the 1970s, he gained recognition as the vocalist of the pop band Srebrna Krila. His solo career began after leaving the band, and in 1984, he represented Yugoslavia at the Eurovision Song Contest with Izolda Barudžija, performing "Ciao, amore". Kalember released his debut album Zaljubi se (1982), followed by notable albums such as Vino na usnama (1987) and Äija si u duÅ¡i (1988). Throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, he released subsequent albums including Sve najbolje (1995), Pjevaj, raduj se (1996), and Rano mi je zaspati (2001). His notable songs include "Vino na usnama", "Ja nisam kockar", and "Ana". Kalember was also a member of the group 4 Asa.
